Davis has been using a new phrase over the past few weeks. He uses it when we are stuck in traffic. He uses it when he sees a driver who literally can’t drive. He uses it when something out of the ordinary happens. He sometimes uses it when I tell him some new information. I thought at first I was to blame for this new found exclamatory/interrogative statement. But, alas, it wasn’t me – apparently he picked it up from his Nana. So when you hear Davis say with much gusto, “What the heck is going on here?” just know that he doesn’t learn everything from me.
