Davis has now given up his bottle. He wanted to get a head start on turning one, so he decided he was ready to just drink from his sippy cup and eat big boy food. It has now been two whole days since he has used a bottle. Hopefully he won’t regress.
The only problem is that he will not drink milk. When the milk hits his lips, he sputters and spits it all out. It rolls down his chin, his neck, and onto his belly. So, I have been lacing his oatmeal and potatoes with milk. He has been eating cheese and yogurt and drinking calcium fortified orange juice. I feel like I could possibly become obsessed with this new toddler diet. Anybody have any other ideas for replacing the supposed nutrients that are found in milk?
